This is the official 11th Anniversary Geocoin - celebrating 2nd May 2000 - when the US President Bill Clinton ordered that the "Selective Availability" of GPS satellites should be turned off - increasing the accuracy of GPS devices 10 fold. That change made Geocaching possible - thanks Bill !
The coin itself is around 4.5cm wide, and really heavy (around 40g), thick and well made, with raised lettering and decoration. Each coin is fully trackable, with it's own page on Geocaching.com.
This is the kind of Geocoin of you probably don't want to send "into the wild", personally I wouldn't - it's far far too nice ! But you can if you want. :-)
