May 2015 marks 15 years of the existence of geocaching. This coin commemorates the moment on 2nd May 2000 when the US President Bill Clinton ordered that the "Selective Availability" of GPS satellites should be turned off - allowing GPS technology to be available to the public. That change made Geocaching possible, and the first geocache was placed the very next day.

In commemoration, the backside of this coin shows the coordinates of the first 12 geocaches that were ever created. The satellite represents the beginning of improved GPS accuracy signal. The front is adorned with a traditional compass design.

Celebrate this once in a life time event with this trackable geocoin.
