Brite Light LED Torch - Trackable
A very serious bit of kit !
A high quality durable metal construction LED torch, with Geostuff.com.au logo - fully trackable on Geocaching.com with it's own page. "Produces more light than a 4 D cell battery powered Maglite"
No cacher should ever head out into the unknown without some basic must-haves in their gear. A flashlight is both a convenience and a necessity for the outdoor enthusiast. A good LED torch is smart, economical and efficient. A Brite Light Torch is the same thing on steroids! The latest technology in Cree LED bulbs makes wider spectrum & higher quality light with less energy and less weight. This Torch produces more light than a 4 D cell battery powered Maglite with a fraction of the weight and size! 150+ lumens makes this one of the highest output for weight flashlights around :)
Our Brite Light Torch is powerful and lightweight measuring 5" x 1.25" with solid aluminum body sporting a heavy duty water resistant O-ring at the threads. Unlike some other torches, ours is powered by the universally available AAA battery ensuring long life for its 100,000 hour burn rated Cree(R) XP-E LED bulb. No more impossible to find and/or expensive watch battery or Ni-Cad replacements for your light. Every Torch comes with 3AAA Batteries Included and has a convenient tail cap on/off switch for easy use even when wearing gloves in cold weather. All anodized alumnum body construction and a deep cross-cut checking for a sturdy grip even in muddy or icy conditions makes this one serious contender in night caching!
As it's trackable.... if you drop it near a cache, it's likely another cacher will find it and return it !
It was here within a week and at no extra cost to me.
I have been away and it is only now that I can write a positive report on both the new torch and Geostuff's replacement policy.
The torch is working beautifully, easy to use and as I said previously the beam is 'brilliant'. There is no problem with it at all.
It is stored ready for use in the home when not geocaching. I am looking forward to using it searching in all those dark places for future caches.
With this experience, I have no hesitation in dealing with Geostuff in the future. It's reassuring to deal a company with such integrity.
Many thanks Carl for your quick follow up.
I have been through so many torches over the years, either dropping and breaking plastic ones, or the kids pinch them and we can't find them again. This is mine, the kids know this and never even ask to touch it, for fear of GC Headquarters beaming them away. It is nice that I may get it back if I ever leave it at a cache, but so far that hasn't happened.
