Now is your last chance to grab the SR-71 Blackbird Geocoin!
The SR-71 Lockheed "Blackbird" is a long-range strategic aircraft designed to operate at high speeds and altitudes. The aircraft's standard evasive action is to accelerate to such a high speed that it simply outflies any enemy missiles. Since 1976, the SR-71 has held the world record for being the fastest air-breathing manned aircraft. The SR-71 was designed for flight over Mach 3 and was designed to have a minimal radar cross section. This was an early design attempt at stealth aircraft.
The United States Air Force used the SR-71 aircrafts from 1964 to 1998, where a total of 32 aircraft were built. During it's service life, not a single SR-71 aircraft was shot down. 85% of the SR-71 structure was made of titanium alloy.
